Some news (August 2016)

Click! with Piccadilly in background

Some time has passed since our last update, so here we are with some news.

First and most important news is the illustrations are almost all finished. Some colour still needs to be applied to few of them, then we’ll look at them all closely to find and fix eventual “bugs” (colour not matching our original palettes, shadows and highlights improvements, and so on).

In the meantime we will also finish up cover and back cover, which are basically ready, except for some detail.

After English and Italian, Spanish translation is also ready. The story has been translated by 2 different people, and then edited by 2 editors too. Soon, we will also show the story to 2-3 bilingual parents to make sure the quality of the translation satisfies our standards.

Finally, we’ve been interviewed by Spark Hub! This is our first interview, and we are really proud of it! You can find it here.

Unfortunately, there’s also a “bad news”. Due to some technical issue, we can’t use any longer the service we originally looked at for self-publishing. This obviously complicates things, and may cause some delay. We now have to sit down and find the best option to go with, considering that we don’t want to change the trim size, and that we want Click! available World wide.

We’ll keep you posted!

Inspiration is everywhere, you just need to be open to it. I was commuting on the tube as usual, but that day something extraordinary happened. Listening to some kids laughing about travelling in London, a funny thought came to mind, and few hours later Click! was born.
